A road trip through snow squalls & whiteout conditions ended up delivering beautiful scenery on the client's private property recessed from the main road.

The client originally planned on doing a DIY pond, but in doing their research to see what is involved in a larger scale recreation pond design / builds - decided to get more information from companies that do this work regularly.

Listening to the client's wants & needs - we at Bio-Fusion Designs #biofusiondesigns have come up with a project design that will play off of the client's original pond location on the property & the preliminary work that was already done on a DIY level.

Unique features that this system will encompass include a massive waterfall as a main focal point important to the client. This waterfall system will feed back into the main recreation pond that will have a skim cove & wetland filtration zone. Rock indigenous to the area will be utilized to complete a natural look.

Rainwater harvesting off the gutters will collect at an in-ground reservoir to be used for pond top-off & other uses around the property.

This will reside below the pond area and in proximity to a flagstone sitting area / custom fire pit that the client is working on. One of our recommended features that will be implemented in this area is a re-circulating or pondless waterfall facing the sitting space. This will run off of the reservoir system that collects rainwater. This will give the illusion of groundwater coming from im-bedded rock formation.

The client already implemented a natural stone staircase leading from where the pond and main waterfall will be down to the flagstone patio & what will be a reservoir that will be decorated seamlessly in natural stone formations.
